Lauriane (Charpentier) Plouffe 97, wife of the late Lionel Plouffe, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at St. Antoine Residence. Lauriane was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Emery and Adele (Desrosiers) Charpentier. She was a very loving wife and mother who was grand in her humility, and was the embodiment of kindness, making everyone feel welcome in her presence. She enjoyed camping and travel with her husband and family.
Lauriane is survived by her children: Dennis Plouffe of Cumberland, Michael Plouffe of Coventry, Jeffrey Plouffe of Dallas, Kevin Plouffe of Mapleville, Pauline Fiore of Greenville, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her siblings: Robert Charpentier, Joe Charpentier, Jeanne Somers, Helen Van Howe, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late: Lorenzo, Roland, Raoul, Albert, and Emery Charpentier, Leona Bousquet, Rita Pierel, Claire Falardeau, Muriel Remillard, and Pauline Boucher.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
