Kenneth D. Lavoie 64, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Beebe Hospital, Lewes, DE. He was the loving fiancé of Louise (Marcotte) Desrosiers. Kenny was born in Woonsocket, a son of Lorraine (Gignac) Lavoie and the late Albert Lavoie. He was a truck driver for many years, retiring in 2015. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Kenny was a cancer survivor, but still loved helping others. His outgoing personality and friendly demeanor always made people feel comfortable in his presence. In addition to his mother and his beloved fiancée Louise, he is survived by his son Timothy (TJ) Lavoie of Kissimmee, FL, three grandchildren: Destiny, Anthony, and Anellis, one great-grandchild, Amora, and his brother Allen Lavoie of Hopedale. He was also the father of the late Kelli Lavoie.

His funeral will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
