Joseph O L Aubin Sr

Joseph O. L. Aubin Sr. 85, formerly of Grove St. passed away on August 31, 2023, at St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of the late Muriel (Chevalier) Aubin. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Ovila A. and Thelma (Desmarais) Aubin. Joseph served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a burner for Electric Boat for thirteen years and later worked part time as a cook for Brunswick Bowling. Joe was a member of the American Legion Post 85 and was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Gilman and Joseph O.L. Aubin Jr. both of Woonsocket, and Henry Aubin of North Providence, a brother Robert Aubin of Cumberland, and a sister Lucille Cyr of Woonsocket, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

His funeral with visitation was held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, beginning at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. A private burial will be held at a later date.
