Joanne Allam 61, of Grove St. passed away on August 25, 2025, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care with family by her side. Born in Woonsocket, she was the beloved daughter of Jacqueline (Duhamel) Allam of Woonsocket and the late James Allam. Joanne graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1983. She enjoyed Wheel of Fortune, and doing word search puzzles on her computer. She lived a simple but happy life. Joanne was a social butterfly, everyone that met her loved her. She loved going out to dinner and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Besides her mother she leaves two brothers John Allam of Bellingham, and David Allam (Denise) of North Fort Myers, FL a sister Patricia St. Germain (Luc) of Woonsocket and nieces and nephews, Elaine, Matthew and Erika St. Germain and Jay Allam.
A Funeral Service for the Deceased will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Basil The Great Melkite Catholic Church, 15 Skyview Dr. Lincoln, RI 02865. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care RI would be appreciated.
