Jill E. Anderson

Jill E. Anderson 76, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at home.

Jill was born in Johnson City, NY, a daughter of the late Charles and Eunice (Smith) Anderson.

She was a graduate of Wellsley University and received her Masters Degree in Social Services from Northeastern. Throughout her life, Jill dedicated her talents and knowledge to senior services. She was the Executive Director of Senior Services Inc. of Woonsocket for many years, and later was the Executive Director of Senior Services in Millville, MA and served on the Blackstone Council on Aging. She also was the President of Rhode Island Senior Centers Directors Association. Jill was also an active member of the Woonsocket Rotary Club for many years.

She is survived by her children: Michael Curran and his wife Melissa of Boston, Daniel Curran and his wife Justine of Bellingham, two grandchildren: Gretchen and Alec, and her loving companion Nicholas Gazerro of Millville.

She was also the sister of the late Faye Fleming. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2024  from 4-6pm at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, RI.
