Jeannette E Cote

Jeannette E. Cote 98, formerly of Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, passed away on February 16, 2021 at The Holiday in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Roger H. Cote. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Giguere) Cournoyer. Jeannette worked as a nurse’s aide from 1975-1986 at Woonsocket Health Center. She also worked at the former French Worsted Co. in her younger days. But for most of her life she was a homemaker caring for her family.

Jeannette is survived by her sons, Roger L. Cote of Bellingham, Rene P. Cote of Newnan, GA, Michael A. Cote of Woonsocket, and William J. Cote and his wife Rita of Mendon, MA; two daughters Ann Marie C. Cote of Woonsocket, and Jacqueline R. Fanion and her husband Steven of Seekonk, MA; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren, Carolyn, and Steven Cote, and Sarah Fanion. She was predeceased by her son Donald L. Cote and her daughter Denise L. Cote, and sisters Stella Turcotte, Edna Vadenais, and Lillian Therien.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home are private. In lieu of flowers donations to the “Holiday Resident Activity Fund”, Holiday Retirement Home, 30 Sayles Hill Rd. Manville, RI 02838 in her memory would be appreciated.
