James A. Garceau

James A. Garceau 79, of Weirton, West Virginia passed away on March 21, 2021. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Alfred and Theresa (Rivet) Garceau. Jim was born and raised in Rhode Island; he then moved to Florida where he lived for several years before moving to West Virginia. He was the store manager of Food Lion in Florida for several years. Jim was an avid Patriots and NASCAR fan and also loved going to the dog track. He was a former member of the bug club in Pawtucket.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Garceau Cerza and her husband Martin of Maryland, Deborah Darveau and her husband Dennis of North Smithfield, and Tammy DiSano and her husband Matthew of West Greenwich; two sisters, Theresa Octeau and her husband David of Pawtucket, and Sandra Furlong and her husband Peter of Central Falls, a brother Robert Garceau of Pawtucket; four grandchildren Travis and Spencer Darveau, Isabella Cerza, and Brysen DiSano. He was predeceased by his brother Alfred Garceau and grandson Nicolas DiSano.

His funeral will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial is private.
