Jacques A. Dufresne

Jacques A. Dufresne 77, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Victor and Beatrice (Auger) Dufresne. Jacques worked as a teller at RI Hospital Trust and for CVS Warehouse for many years and was a former active member of the Woonsocket Jaycees.

He is survived by his siblings: Horace Dufresne and his wife Betsy of Uxbridge and Jocelyn Taylor and her husband David of Malden, MA. He was also the brother of the late Lucien Dufresne. His funeral with visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM in in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket. Prayer service will begin at 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville, RI.
