Jacqueline B (Belanger) Harpin

Jacqueline B. Harpin 89, formerly of Woonsocket passed away on August 27, 2024, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. She was the wife of the late Leo Harpin to whom she had been married for 64 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Antoine and Germaine (Pepin) Belanger. Jackie was a cafeteria worker for the Cumberland School Department for several years retiring in 1992. She loved playing cards and bingo and was an avid Red Sox fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Jacqueline is survived by her sons Roger Harpin and his wife Denise of Smithfield, Russell Harpin of Woonsocket, and Marc Harpin and his husband Garo Toomajanian of Brookline, MA, two daughters Janice DiSpirito and her husband Angelo of East Greenwich, and Ann Goudreau and her husband Richard of Glendale, two sisters Bertha Gagnon of Woonsocket and Jeannette Marazzini of Ashland, MA, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Paul Belanger, Gertrude Paquin, Lucille Demers, and Lillian Deragon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrections Cemetery in Cumberland.
