Hermine "Mindy" (Riendeau) Marchand

Hermine (Riendeau) Marchand, also known as Mindy, aged 96, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born on July 13, 1929, Mindy lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and quiet strength.

Throughout her life, Mindy was known for her devoted commitment to family, generosity of spirit, and her ability to bring warmth to every room she entered. Family meant everything to Mindy and she created a home filled with warmth, humor and unwavering support.

She spent many years working as a real estate broker, where she earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. She later worked for CVS for many years.

Mindy is survived by six children: Andre Marchand and wife Donna, Denise (Marchand) Fitzgerald and husband Richard, Paul Marchand and husband William Smith, David Marchand and wife Susan, Lesa (Marchand) Jarmoszko and husband Richard, and Elaine (Marchand) Ryan and husband Michael, as well as a nephew, two nieces, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.
