It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Glenn W. Scott leaving a void that can never be filled. After being diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreatic cancer, Glenn fought with unwavering courage and strength but was granted his angel wings on Oct. 14, 2025. Glenn earned his bachelor’s degree from Johnson and Wales University, Summa Cum Laude and worked in the hospitality industry for most of his adult life.
He was a man of many passions—from blasting his favorite rock music to watching horror movies with his companion Liz. He enjoyed fishing, sitting around a good fire pit, cookouts and spending time with family and friends. He was also a lifelong patriots fan. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to all who supported Glenn during his illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter G. Scott, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Helena Scott of Woonsocket, sister Carla Martin and her husband Paul Martin of Woonsocket, niece Heather Lamoureux and her husband Brian Lamoureux, a great nephew and niece all of Smithfield, and his companion Lizabeth Joynes of Bristol.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
