Gerard P. Morin

Gerard P. Morin Sr. 77, passed away on August 16, 2025, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. He was the husband of Rita A (Leduc) Morin. Born in Madawaska, ME. He was a son of the late Albert and Edna (Chasse) Morin. Gerry was served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a machine operator for Carol Cable for over twenty-five years. Gerry was also a bartender and member of the Cercle Laurier for over fifty years. He was a happy and giving person and loved leaving a piece of himself wherever he went. He enjoyed traveling, music, and collecting coins and sports cards.

Besides his wife he leaves his children, Gerard P. Morin Jr of Framingham, Brian K. Morin of Smithfield, and Tonya L. Rodriguez of Dunnellon, FL., siblings Rolande Langlois, Lionel Morin, Robertine Desjarlais, Jacqueline Desrosiers and Normand Morin, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Raymond, Rejenald, Roland, Conrad, Milford, Romeo, Merial, Adrien, and Ronald Morin and Jeannine Baril.

His funeral will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, RI with a service in the funeral followed by burial with Military Honors at 11:30 AM in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
