Evelyn (Gaudreau) Tetreault

Evelyn Tetreault 89, formerly of Bernon St, passed away Thursday, January 30, at the home of her loving daughter Doris Hayter with whom she lived. She was the wife of the late Roland Tetreault. She was born in Woonsocket. A daughter of the late Albert and Valeda (Desautels) Gaudreau. Evelyn was a stamper for Mine Safety Appliance Co. for many years retiring in 1993. She loved cooking, and adored her great grandchildren, and loved her dog Buddy.

She is survived by seven children: George Tetreault of Cumberland, Gerard, Roland, Rene, Eugene and Michael Tetreault, all of Woonsocket; Doris Hayter of North Smithfield, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Evelyn was also the mother of the late Florence Tetreault, Theresa Ferschke, Leo Tetreault and Evelyn Masnyk. She was also predeceased by all her siblings: Donat, Edgar, Ernest, and Edward Gaudreau, Rita Tingley, Claire Hebert, Cecile Rondeau, and Florence Brissette.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 So. Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. James  Church, Manville. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.

Visiting hours will be held Monday 5-7 PM.
