Eva I. (Gervais) Theroux 97, passed away in The Friendly Home Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Roland F. Theroux. Eva was born in Montreal, a daughter of the late Dominique and Delia (Levine) Gervais. She was an inspector for Tupperware in North Smithfield for many years. Eva was very artistic and enjoyed craft work. She loved playing the organ, shopping, spending time with family, and hosting Sunday dinners. She is survived by her children: Robert Theroux of Sanford, FL, Irene White of Woonsocket, Cecile Evans of Palmetto, FL, Jacqueline Campopiano, of Woonsocket, and Nancy Dussault of Sanford, FL, seventeen grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, numerous great, great grandchildren, and one sister, Doris Lamontagne of Woonsocket. She was the mother of the late Aline Valentine, and Jeannine Plante and the sister of the late Ernest and Lionel Gervais, Beatrice Boucher, Yvonne Lapierre, Theresa Barroso, and Lillian Charpentier. Her funeral will be held Friday, September 22, at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 So Main St, Woonsocket with a Funeral Service at 10:00 am in Blackstone Valley Baptist Church, 40 Pine Swamp Rd, Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 4-7 pm.
