Eugene L Girard

Eugene “Geno” L. Girard 60, of 547 Clinton St., passed away on July 24, 2021, at home. He was the husband of Gail (Beaudoin) Girard. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Eugene P. and Juliette (Gingras) Girard. Geno worked as a custodian for the Woonsocket Jr High School for several years. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Geno was a member and past president of the St. Germain Manor Club and the Woonsocket Jaycees, he served on the board at Kennedy Manor, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Besides his wife he leaves his step-children, James Nault of Pascoag, and Rebecca Nault of Woonsocket, a brother Raymond Girard of Woonsocket, two sisters, Jeannette Benoit and Lorraine Guilbault both of Belchertown, MA, and a granddaughter Reagan. He was pre-deceased by a brother Normand Girard.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, concluding with a prayer service.
