Eugene R. Beauparlant

Eugene R. Beauparlant 69, of Winthrop St. passed away on January 30, 2022, at Phillip Hulitar Center. Born in Woonsocket he was a son of Rita (Roy) Beauparlant Cousineau of FL, and the late Rene Beauparlant. Gene was a hard worker and held many different jobs throughout the years. He started his career as a printer working mostly for the former Ayotte Printers. He then started GJR Home Improvements, which he owned and operated for over ten years. Gene was the founder and foreman of the former Whalers Candles in Woonsocket. He retired from the Woonsocket School Department as the head carpenter of the maintenance department after more then ten years. Gene loved working on old cars, and maintaining his property, but mostly he loved his family, sons, and grandchildren. Gene was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his two sons, Joshua Beauparlant of West Greenwich, RI, and Ryan Beauparlant of Mendon, MA and former wife Jeanne Desautels of Woonsocket, a brother Robert Beauparlant of Foster, RI, sisters Elaine Morrow and Cecile Fisette both of Jensen Beach, FL, Doris Methot of Woonsocket, and Annette Fagnante of Tiverton, RI. He also leaves his grandchildren, Makenzi, Emily, Hailey, Chace, and Jax. Gene was predeceased by his sisters Suzanne Beauparlant and Pauline Aubin.
