Ericka Algarin Coburn

Ericka Algarin Coburn 40, of Providence, died on May 22, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born and raised in Milford MA, she was the biological daughter of Elsa (Rosario) Algarin of New Bedford and the late Angel Algarin.   Ericka was also the adoptive daughter of Steven Coburn of Milford, and the late Laura Fitzgerald Coburn. Ericka was a CNA at Milford Hospital for several years, she loved caring for people. She was also a certified chaplain with the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal Church. Ericka loved to sing and read; she especially loved to bake and share her goods with family, the church and the community.

Besides her parents she leaves her siblings, Jesiah Algarin, Jennifer Algarin, Daniel Gonzalez, Angel Algarin, Alesia Algarin, Codi Coburn, Eric Coburn, Daniel Coburn, and Harley Coburn, and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held in Union Cemetery. Visiting hours to which family and friends are invited will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6-8 PM. The celebration of her life begins at 6:15PM.
