Eileen I (Richer) Asmus

Eileen I. (Richer) Asmus 75, of Cove Rd. died January 12, 2019 at Philip Hulitar Center. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Romeo and Roseanna (Langlois) Richer. Eileen work in the accounting department of several area businesses, most recently Putnam Investments. She served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

Eileen is survived by two sons William Asmus of Woonsocket, and Thomas Asmus of Temple City, CA; a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Richer; three grandchildren, Haleigh, Thomas Jr, and Matthew, and two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Austin. She was predeceased by a grandson Ian and siblings Marguerite Richer, Gloria Richer, Laura Albanese, and Joseph Richer.

A committal service will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
