Edmond W. Lacroix 92, passed away Monday, February 7, in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Alice Henault. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Stanislaus and Arsena (Girard) Lacroix. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Edmond was a truck driver for many years retiring in 1992. He was a hardworking, dedicated family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his family and friends. Edmond is survived by six sons: Edmond O. Lacroix of Woonsocket, Richard of Woonsocket, Paul of Pawtucket, and Walter, David, and Don all of Woonsocket, six daughters: Helene Woodmansee of Chepachet, Shirley Medeiros of Woonsocket, Linda De Michele of FL, and Diane Laliberte, Cathy Lacroix, and Debra Lacroix all of Woonsocket, twenty-five grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Beatrice Boulaine.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, from 5-7 PM. Burial will be private. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
