Dorothy S (Beattie) Roberts

Dorothy S. (Beattie) Roberts 90, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 in the Oak Hill Center in Pawtucket. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late John and Sophie (Zielinski) Beattie. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She had a great zest for life and enjoyed singing and laughing and was always ready for the next family gathering.

She is survived by her four children: Timothy Roberts of IA, Leonard Roberts of IA, Jeffrey Roberts of Chelmsford, MA and Diane Roberts of Woonsocket, three grandchildren: Jody, Alyson, and Kadie, one grandson, Hunter, and one brother, John Beattie. She was also the sister of the late Edward Beattie, Esther Savard, Amelia Thifault, and SR Lillian Beattie.

Her funeral with visitation will be held at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket on Thursday, April 8, at 9:30 am with a prayer service beginning at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Bellingham.
