Doris L. (Gervais) Lamontagne

Doris L. (Gervais) Lamontagne 90, formerly of Parkview Manor, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at St. Antoine Residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Lamontagne Sr. Doris was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Dominique and Delia (Lavigne) Gervais and was one of eight children. Doris spent most of her married life as a dedicated homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She was the former club president of Parkview Manor and set up masses for the residents. She was an avid bingo player and as a dedicated pet lover, donated many blankets and beds for the local animal shelter.

She is survived by her eight children: Edward P. Lamontagne Jr. of Whitinsville, Guy Lamontagne of Harrisville, William Lamontagne and his wife Linda of Woonsocket, Brad Lamontagne and his wife Melissa of N. Woodstock, NH, Diane Estes and her husband Raymond of Uxbridge, Dolores Noel and her husband Arthur of Uxbridge, Robin Partridge of Littleton, NH, and Linda Murphy of Worcester, seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Brent and all seven of her siblings.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket.
