Doris S. (Boisvert) Hudon 76, of Rodman St. passed away on September 8, 2021, at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Roland E. Hudon Sr. Born in Woonsocket; she was a daughter of the late Lionel and Jeannette (Guernon) Boisvert. Doris was an office and accounts receivable manager and worked for N & D Transportation Co. for thirty- two years. She had previously worked for Johnson Motor Lines and Theroux Brothers Express. Doris was a member of the Senior Center in Woonsocket, and St. Joseph Sr. Citizens. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, reading and crafting crossword puzzles. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Doris is survived by her children, Roland E. Hudon Jr. and his wife Barbara of Harrisville, Donna Briggs and her husband Nelson, and Jeffrey Hudon and his wife Danielle, all of Attleboro, six grandchildren, Kerstin, Rebecca, Storm, Taylor, Savannah and Jeffrey Jr., and a great granddaughter Piper. She also leaves eight siblings, Jeanne Bastien, Lionel, Edgar, Robert, Paul, Albert, Donald, and Marc Boisvert, and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Coutcher. She was predeceased by a grandchild, Kyle, brothers, Charles and Normand Boisvert and sister Adrienne Weseluk.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Monday, September 13, 2021, from 5-7 PM.
