Dennis R. Mallozzi 74, of Providence St. passed away on February 23, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Revell) Mallozzi. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Escolino and Anna (Carlevale) Mallozzi. Dennis was a well-known auto mechanic in the city of Woonsocket. His last place of employment was Switzer Auto Repair where he worked for fourteen years before retiring in 2012. Dennis was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman and known for his love of life. He was a devoted father and grandfather and a loving friend to anyone who knew him.
Besides his wife he leaves his children Eric Bergeron and his wife Nicole of CT, Laura Willsey of West palm Beach, FL, Brenda Willsey of Woonsocket and Lisa Lamontagne and her husband Matthew of Chepachet, a brother Joseph Mallozzi of ME, three sisters Christine McAllister of Foster, Linda Mullen of Bristol and Debbie Quilini of Johnston, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 2-4 PM.
