David F. Marquis

David F. Marquis 55 of Scituate passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born in Woonsocket, a beloved son of the late Florian and Claire (Garceau) Marquis. Dave was a self-employed DJ and was the owner-operator of DJ Dave Extraordinaire. Dave also loved acting and was a member of the Friends & Co. and Kaleidoscope theater companies. He was a multi-medal recipient with Special Olympics, excelling in throwing and track events. He is survived by his siblings: Ronald Marquis and Denise Marquis of Woonsocket, Suzanne Phaneuf of Pascoag, Diane Marquis of NC, Lisa Marquis and her partner Dean Goodman of Woonsocket, and Christine Staples and her husband Timothy of Scituate with whom he lived, He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday March 7, from 5-7 PM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket with a prayer service beginning at 6:30. Burial will be private.
