Constance (Girard) Servizi

Constance (Girard) Servizi of Woonsocket passed away on December 19, 2024 at Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center. You may know her from her time at Woonsocket City Hall, from cardiac rehab where she was quite the socialite, her check-in phone calls to loved ones that she made with incredible consistency, or maybe you just met her along the way during her travels - she genuinely cared for people and made friends wherever she went. 

The fact is, Constance has held many titles and played many roles in her life, but those who knew and loved her, know that her favorite titles were wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Nonni. She wanted nothing more than to spend time with her beloved husband of 58 years Ronald Servizi, her children Michelle King of Cumberland (Edward) and Peter Servizi (Cheryl) of Davenport, Florida, brother Lucien Girard (Charlene) of Woonsocket, and her grandchildren, Sarah King, Michael King, and Morgan Servizi. She was always there for them, whether she was spearheading adventures in New Hampshire, providing advice and wisdom paired with a big hug, leading spontaneous trips to Barnes & Noble, lighthearted shopping trips, or praying her nightly rosary for her long list of loved ones. Always willing to throw you an extra prayer when you really needed it. 

She will forever be remembered for her dedication to family, voracious reading schedule, loud laughter, big smile, and the way her steadfast love has laid the foundation for so many of our best memories. As Connie’s family, we can unequivocally say that it has been the honor of our lives to have been loved by her.

Her funeral will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a prayer service at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 PM. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
