Claudette M. (Lafond) Champeau

Claudette M. (Lafond) Champeau 78, of Woonsocket, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the home of her son Marc Champeau surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Normand Champeau.  Claudette was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Roland and Juliette (Pelland) Lafond. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife and dedicated homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Marc Champeau and his wife Sheri of Sutton, MA, Lise Hurteau and her husband Glen of Woonsocket and Monique Richard of Cumberland, her grandchildren: Amanda, Keith, Aimee, Tyler, and Juliet, and her sisters, Rachel Bouvier of Blackstone, and Diane Parenteau of Woonsocket.

Her funeral with Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 14, at 10:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. The family will receive guests at 9:30 at the entrance of the church. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
