Claudette D. (Godin) Boiteau 80, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Rene H. Boiteau. Claudette was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Claire (St Germain) Godin. She worked as a nutritional aide for Landmark Medical Center for thirty-five years retiring in 2020. Widowed at a young age, she was a hardworking, independent woman who quite ably managed all home repairs while working and caring for her family. She is survived by her children: Rene W. Boiteau and his wife Rachel of North Smithfield, Jacqueline A. Girard of Woonsocket, Denis A. Boiteau and his wife Paulette of Cumberland, Michael A. Boiteau and his wife Lisa of Norfolk, VA, and Jo-Anne C. Lambert and her husband Christopher of Sioux Falls, SD, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Jeannine Godin of North Smithfield. She was predeceased by her siblings, Wilfred Godin and Lorraine Beausoleil. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
