Claire (Jacques) Jovin

Claire Jovin 97, of Kennedy Lane, formerly of Pawtucket passed away on December 26, 2022, at home. She was the wife of the late Lucien J. Jovin. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Clara (Breault) Jacques. Claire loved people and loved to talk especially to her friends at Blackstone Falls.

She is survived by her son Kevin M. Jovin and his wife Lori of Harrisville, daughter-in-law Claire Jovin, five grandchildren, Paul Richardson and his wife Amanda, Renee Gravel and her husband Keith, Jennifer Stearns and her husband Jesse, Todd Jovin and his wife Melanie, and Keith Jovin and his wife Melissa, several nieces and nephews including Claire LeBlanc, Richard and Connie Palin, and Linda Piette, and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Ronald Jovin, and siblings Edward Jacques, Edna Bourassa, Estelle Palin and Frank Jacques.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.
