Bertrand J. Theriault 92, of Millville, MA passed away unexpectedly at home, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa (Bernier) Theriault, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter and family. Born in Woonsocket to the late Wilfred and Corinne (Laliberte) Theriault, Bert grew up with a strong work ethic, and a natural talent for building; qualities that stayed with him throughout his life. A proud union carpenter for Local 94, he dedicated his career to craftsmanship and retired in 1996 after decades of hard work and commitment. Outside of work, Bert was happiest with a project in hand. He loved tackling things around the house, keeping his yard in beautiful shape, and staying busy with anything that let him build, fix, or create. He also enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and making memories along the way. But above all, Bert cherished time with his family. Whether it was a simple afternoon together or a holiday gathering, those moments meant everything to him. He is survived by his children: David Theriault and his partner Rose Jalette of Palm Coast FL, Michelle Parenteau and her husband Jason of Millville, MA, and by his two grandchildren, Jacob and Ethan Parenteau, who brought him tremendous joy. He was predeceased by his sisters, Muriel Kuster and Doris Staudinger. Services will be private.
