Bernard “Ben” F. Robidoux 73, of Lincoln St. passed away on September 5, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband for fifty years of Diane (Pare) Robidoux. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Antoine and Bertha (Loiselle) Robidoux. Ben served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a truck outfitter for Dejana Truck Bodies for over twenty years. Ben was a “fix it man” and was often helping friends and family by fixing things, especially cars or showing everyone how to fix them. Ben was a Scout Leader of Troop 6 in Blackstone for many years. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Normand Robidoux and his wife Lori of Webster, MA, Gary Robidoux and his wife Deana if North Smithfield, RI, Michelle Bisbee and her husband Shawn, and Renee Robidoux all of Blackstone, MA, Jason Robidoux and his wife Amber of Orange, MA and Adam Robidoux and his wife Jenn of Millville, MA.; fifteen grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, Emily, Briana, Brendan, Colin, Madison, Kailey, Makenzie, Tristen, Sienna, Sadie, Kole, James, and Tyler and one great-grandson, Gabryel. Ben was predeceased by his two brothers, Raymond and Joseph Robidoux.
His funeral will be held Friday September 9, 2022, at 9:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Divine Mercy Church, St. Paul St., Blackstone. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 5-7 PM.
