Beatrice M. Proulx 95, of North Smithfield passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at St. Antoine Residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand Proulx. Born in Bellingham, MA, she was one of eight children of the late Raymond and Yvonne (Labranche) Boisvert.
Beatrice was a stitcher for UniRoyal for many years. She loved crocheting, gardening, quilting, but most of all loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed volunteering in the food pantry of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.
Beatrice is survived by her children: Denise Lambert and her husband Leo of Cumberland, and Francine Katkowski of Wakefield and her husband Ron of Wakefield, and Gary Proulx and his wife Laureen of Harrisville, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by all seven of her siblings. Her funeral will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
