Antonio “Tony” Valentín, 84, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at Overlook Nursing Home, with his devoted wife Paulette Parent Valentín by his side. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, on December 19, 1940, he was the son of Eusebia Ferrer and Jacinto Valentín.

Tony grew up working in the sugar cane fields before moving to Framingham, MA, with a career at Raytheon. After retiring he volunteered with Meals on Wheels and made his home in Woonsocket, RI, for the past three decades.

Known for his humor and lively spirit, Tony enjoyed singing and dancing to salsa and merengue, and cheering for New England Sports teams. He will be remembered as a dedicated provider who valued family above all.

Tony shared a large family with Ivette Torres. He is survived by their son Luis Valentín and his children JoséLuis and Alexandria; by the memory of their daughter Mildred Valentín and her daughter, the late Roxsanna; and by their daughters Vivian Valentín; Sandra Valentín-Brown, her daughter Jazmin and granddaughter Jade Abreu; Nydia Valentín, her children Yesenia Joseph, Marcos Albarracín and his daughter Lilyana; Zaida Valentín and her daughter Yivelsie; and Leslie Valentin-Vázquez, her daughter Clarissa and grandson Ezekiel White, and her son José and his children Leslie and Jaylani.

Through his marriage to Aline Valentín, Tony embraced her children Marlene and Gerald Bernier and their families, as well as their foster daughter Lynn Champion and her family.

In his later years, he shared life with his wife Paulette and welcomed Christina Boudreau and her son Evan White as family.

Tony was predeceased by his siblings José, Ramona, and Miguel Valentín and is survived by Petronillia and Víctor Valentín, along with many extended family members he deeply impacted.

Tony will be remembered as a father, grandfather, husband, brother, provider, and a man who lived and loved with unmistakable strength. His legacy continues through the family he cherished.
