Anne Marie (Poisson) Cournoyer

Anne Marie Cournoyer 70, passed away on June 10, 2024, at Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket, RI. Ann Marie was born in Providence on March 27, 1954. She was a daughter of the late Marcel and Beatrice (Cardin) Poisson. Anne Marie worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific for many years, resigning in 2015. She enjoyed playing bingo, painting ceramics and had a love for Native American décor.

She is survived by her sons Matthew Cournoyer and his wife Jessica of Blackstone, and Daniel Cournoyer and his wife Jennifer of Uxbridge and four grandchildren, Skylar, Karson, Ryan and Joey. She was predeceased by her sister Jeannine Detonnancourt.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket followed by a committal service at Union Cemetery in North Smithfield. Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 24, 2024  from 6-8 PM.
