Alice worked in dry cleaning and the laundry business before she began working in social services. She was a community organizer for Social Progress Action Corp and later worked for TOCTA as Weatherization and Cans of Hope Co-Ordinator. Alice also worked for the Department of Human Services as an Outreach specialist.
In 1986, Alice and her husband Paul owned and operated Lamby’s Pub on Blackstone St. in Woonsocket for eighteen years.
She is survived by her daughter June Rampenthal and her husband Kevin of Woonsocket, grandchildren Nataly Neves, Eric Rampenthal, Shane Harnois and his wife Jessica; Lauren Rampenthal and her partner Morgan, Daniel Rampenthal and his fiancée Nicole, and seven great-grandchildren, also her brother Gerard Sawyer, sisters Rose Marie Brissette and Patricia Cote both of Woonsocket.
