Alice M. (Godin) Richer

Alice M. (Godin) Richer 100, wife of the late Roger E. Richer, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Miriam Hospital. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Philippe and Marie Anne (Salvas) Godin.

She worked in various area mills including Corning Fiberglass, retiring in 1984. Alice was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Much of her and Roger's time was given to help with their grandchildren when they were young. She had great pride in her family and they all had great love and respect for her. She is survived by her children: Jane Hill and her husband Bruce of Lincoln, Gail Archetto and her husband Michael of Coventry, daughter in law Gloria Richer of Lake Mary, Florida, five grandchildren: David, Craig, Glenn, Sarah, and Christopher, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Daniel Richer and was predeceased by her ten siblings: Herve, Eugene, and Leo Godin, Corana Michaud, Therese Miranda, Valerie Germain, Eva Desrochers, Marie Ange Taillon, Rose Aimee Tellier, and Helen Peloquin.

Her funeral will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joan’s Church, Cumberland. A private burial will follow.  Please visit :www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook.
