Alice G. Pare 89, formerly of Lincoln St. passed away on April 11, 2021 at the Lydia Taft House. She was the wife of the late Roland A. Pare. Born in Blackstone, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Lillian (Mercier) Goulet. In her younger days Alice worked in the woolen textile mills. She later worked as a CNA for St. Antoine Residence for twenty-eight years before retiring. Alice was an avid gardener and loved her flowers.
She is survived by two sons, Roland A. Pare Jr. of FL, and Michael Pare of Oxford, MA; two daughters, Diane Robidoux of Blackstone, and Jean Perani of FL; twenty-four grandchildren, and thirty-two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Leo Pare and daughter, Charlotte Pare.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Paul’s Church, St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5-7 PM. Face masks are required, and social distancing guidelines will be in force.
