Roger J. Moreau

Roger J. Moreau 88, formerly of Diana St., died March 22, 2018 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility in Northbridge. He was born in Blackstone, a son of the late Simon and Malvina (Harpin) Moreau. Roger worked at the former Branch River Mill for many years. He later worked as a security guard at Amperex for ten years before his retirement. Roger was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by a sister Germaine Belisle of Wrentham, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jacqueline Scott.

His funeral with visitation will be held Monday begining at 11:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St. Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donation to Boys Town, 200 Flanagan Blvd. P O Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010 would be appreciated.
