Raymond J. Lachance

Raymond J. Lachance 81, of Mt Pleasant Rd., died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 20, 2017 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of Jeannine (Paulhus) Lachance. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Ferdina and Marie Rose (Rondeau) Lachance. Raymond was an insurance agent for the John Hancock Insurance Co. for several years. He was a US Navy Veteran. Ray enjoyed playing cards and was a history enthusiast.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Valerie Dube and her husband Peter of Chepachet, a son, Guy Lachance and his wife Karen of N     . Smithfield, three grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, Ethan and a great-grandchild Parker. He was predeceased by a brother Roger Lachance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. The family will begin receiving guests at 9:30 AM in church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
