Leda Ashworth Obituary

Leda D. Ashworth 92, of Mendon Rd., died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Holiday Retirement Home. She was the beloved wife of Norman Ashworth Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Isadore and Delia (Dextras) Noiseux. Leda worked as a sales clerk for several area retail stores.

Besides her husband she leaves two sons Timothy Ashworth of Worcester, and Norman Ashworth Jr. of FL, a daughter Audrey Pepin of N. Smithfield, a sister Nancy Perron of North Smithfield, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Family and close friends are invited to attend visitation Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
