Joyce (Gaiga) Beaudreault

Joyce Beaudreault 81, of Elm St. died October 2, 2017 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Beaudreault. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Narciso and Elena “Helen” (Evangelista) Gaiga. Joyce was a laboratory technician for the former Woonsocket Hospital for over twenty five years. She was a graduate of Woonsocket High School Class of 1953 and a graduate of the Mass School of Physiotherapy Class of 1954. Joyce loved to sing and was a member of the St. Joseph and St. Anthony Choirs. She was also a member of the Wallum Lake Beach Association. Joyce was an avid painter, she especially loved painting watercolors and oils.  She was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her family.

She is survived by her sons, Michael J. Beaudreault of Uxbridge, and David S. Beaudreault of Woonsocket; a sister, Angela Tycks of Lincoln, two grandchildren Brittany Hollis and Cody Beaudreault, and two great-grandchildren Elijah and Olivia.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony’s Church, Greene St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 PM.
