Jeannine (Raiche) Lamoureux

Jeannine Lamoureux 66, of Cote Ave. died December 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the wife of the late Lucien “Chip” G. Lamoureux Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Thadeo and Jeannette (Tessier) Raiche. Jeannine was a nurse and work at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Centre for twenty seven years,  and The Ballou Home for nine years. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, knitting and trips to the casino. Jeannine loved to travel with her twin sister Jeanne, but her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Jace Lamoureux of Sunbright, TN, and Christie Lamoureux of Woonsocket, two daughters Kasey Fontaine of Woonsocket, and Allyson Tetreault of Holiday, FL, a brother Raymond Raiche of North Smithfield,  two sisters Estelle Miller of Radcliff, KY, and her twin sister Jeanne Gamache of Mapleville, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday December 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. The family will begin receiving guest at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society, Central Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-9376 in her memory would be appreciated.
