Jeannette M. St. Jean 95, formerly of Blackstone, died January 27, 2018 at Milford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert St. Jean with whom she had been married for sixty one years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Archille and Caroline (Chamberland) Bissonnette. Jeannette was a cashier for the former Warwick Shopper’s World. She was a member of the Royal Travelers, St. Joseph’s Senior Citizens, and the Blackstone Senior Citizens.
Jeannette is survived by two sons, Robert A. St. Jean and his wife Linda of Phillipston, MA, and Paul A. St. Jean and his wife Denise of Hopkinton, MA; a sister Sr. Helene Bissonnette PM of Methuen, MA; three granddaughters, Jill Bates and her husband Peter, Kimberly Leger and her husband Andy, and Stephanie St. Jean and her fiancé Steven Houle, and five great-grandchildren, Sam, Bradley, Amy, Kyler, and Aurora. She was predeceased by her siblings, Adrien, Leo and Herve Bissonnette, and Lucille Pincince.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Theresa’s Church in Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
