Jean-Paul Perreault Obituary

Jean-Paul L. Perreault 82, of Conrad St. died peacefully on November 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at St. Antoine Residence. Paul was the husband of Pauline C. (Tardif) Perreault, whom he married on May 30, 1962. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Aime and Donalda (Robillard) Perreault.

Jean-Paul served in the US Navy from 1956-1958 and was then employed as a Staff Administrative Specialist for the Army Reserve. He joined the Army Reserves and served for thirty two years, retiring in 1996 as a Chief Warrant Officer 4.

Jean-Paul was a humble man with many talents. He was a part time plumber and fixer upper. His main hobby was gardening which he excelled at and donated most of the fruits of his labor. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed the Boston Bruins, the Red Sox and the Patriots. He was especially pleased when the Patriots won against his daughter-in-law’s favorite team the Green Bay Packers.

Besides his wife he leaves a son Mark P. Perreault and his wife Maureen of Providence, a daughter Paula C. Gudas of N. Smithfield, and a son Daniel J. Perreault and his wife Sarah of Lake Mary, FL; five grandchildren, Samuel, Aaron, and Lucas Perreault, Payton and Riley Gudas, and two step grandchildren, Brad and Sean Hillard, a brother Gilles Perreault, and six sisters Jeanne Levesque, Yvette Guillemette, Gisele Chapdelaine, Cecile Martin, Huguette Dion, and Suzanne Trudeau. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mariette Giguere and Sr. Fernande Perreault PM.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to All Saints Parish, 323 Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI 012895 would be appreciated.
