Janet V. Auger 87, of Poplar St., died May 6, 2019 at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Robert Auger. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Raoul and Henrietta (Artruc) Leclaire. Janet was a secretary for the former Woonsocket Hospital for many years. She loved the ocean, going to the beach and eating and preparing food.

Janet is survived by her daughter Robin Tetreault of Woonsocket, two sons Marc Auger of Manville, and David Auger of Coventry, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Janet was predeceased by a sister Jeanne Nichols.

A Committal Service will be held in the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM followed by burial. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to Beacon 1 Catamore Blvd. East Providence, RI 02914, in her memory would be appreciated.
