Gertrude J. (Coutu) Nault

Gertrude J. “Charlotte” Nault 77, of Clinton St., passed away December 15, 2019 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Nault. Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Clemence (Pratt) Coutu. Charlotte was a textile supervisor for the Medoff Company and Front St. Fabrics for many years, she also owned and operated her own fabric store for a short while. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She was a member of a local Cribbage League and the Kennedy Manor Club. Charlotte loved children and was always available to lend a helping hand to her entire family.

Charlotte is survived by a daughter Barbara Chadwick of Johnston, two sons Herve Nault of Burrillville, and Anthony Nault of Woonsocket, three sisters Suzanne Coutu of Burrillville, Theresa Gerlache of Woonsocket, and Rachel Patenaude of Starks, ME, five grandchildren, Logan, Nolan, and Brendan Chadwick, and James and Rebecca Nault, and two great-grandchildren Landon and Linnea. She was predeceased by siblings Leonard, Charles and Jeannine Coutu.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket.
