Gertrude (Morin) Beliveau

Gertrude Beliveau 98, formerly of East School St. died September 4, 2017 at The Holiday in Manville. She was the wife of the late Roland Beliveau. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Virginia (Mandeville) Morin. Gertrude was a LPN and worked at the former Mercy Hospital, Woonsocket Hospital and the Evergreen Nursing Home until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the St. Germain Manor Club. Gert was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by a son Paul Beliveau and his wife Kay of Macon, GA; two daughters, Louise Ethier and her husband Richard of N. Smithfield, and Rachel Campopiano of Blackstone; two sisters, Rita Bourdon and Francoise Morin both of Woonsocket, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Gerard Morin.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Monday beginning at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations to the Holiday Retirement Activities, 30 Sayles Hill Rd., Manville, RI 02838 in her memory would be appreciated.
