Evelyn M (Corbett) Heroux

Evelyn M. “Nennie” Heroux 83, of Hanton Rd. died Wednesday May 23, 2018 at The Holiday. She was the loving wife of Rene R. Heroux. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Yvonne (Cotnoir) Corbett. Nennie worked for New England Telephone for over forty years. She started out as an operator and worked her way up to an administration position. She was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church where she volunteered and participated in several church activities.

Besides her husband she leaves her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Csizmesia of Blackstone, Michael Csizmesia of Narragansett, Paula and Jennifer Csizmesia both of Manville, Eric Csizmesia of Harker Heights, TX, and Kriston Csizmesia of Pawtucket, a cousin and close friend Lucille Kilcline of Greenville, and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Jane Csizmesia.

A Mass of Intention will be held June 10, 2018 at 8:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Private burial will be held at the discretion of the family.
