Eugene Lauzon Jr 72, formerly of Vose St., died Friday, September 8th in Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Therese (Ethier) Lauzon. Eugene was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Eugene and Viola (Paul) Lauzon. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a machine operator for the former Draper Corp in Hopedale and PEI of Milford MA retiring in 2010. Eugene enjoyed camping, and fishing and was the lead guitar player and singer of the local band “White Lightening Express”. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Eugene E. Lauzon, four daughters: Bonnie Joyal and her husband James of N. Smithfield, Roberta Masi and her husband Michael of Johnston, Tammy Reed and her husband Michael of Ossipee, NH, Jeanne Gonzalez and her husband Cody of Woonsocket, fourteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Roland Lauzon of IL, and a sister Janice Leblanc of Cumberland. He was also the brother of the late Robert Lauzon. His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be Thursday 5-7 PM.
