Ella (Paget) Tessier

Ella Tessier 94, formerly of Blackstone, died January 10, 2019 at Genesis of Milford. She was the wife of the late Norman J. Tessier Sr. Born in Blackstone, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Adelaide (Mercier) Paget. Ella was a assembler for the former Tupperware Co. She had also previously worked for Polytop and Hanora Mills.

She is survived by four sons Norman Tessier Jr and his wife Barbara of Lincoln, Ronald Tessier of VT, Paul Tessier of Woonsocket, and David Tessier and his wife Annette of North Smithfield, a brother Paul Paget, sisters Irene Bonin and Theresa Smith, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was also the sister of the late Bertha Bernier, and Raymond Paget.

A private funeral will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Paul’s Church, St. Paul St. Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Blackstone.
