Dorothy A (Lessard) Roy

Dorothy A. Roy 76, of East School St. died August 18, 2019 at Overlook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Noel A. Roy Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lillian (Langevin) Lessard. Dorothy was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by her children, Noel A. Roy Jr. and his wife Tammy, Alan K. Roy Sr. and his wife Tina, and Brian R. Roy all of Woonsocket, and Jo-Ann Peloquin of PA. and her husband Christopher, two brothers Michael Lessard of Woonsocket, and William Lessard of Cumberland, fifteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by a sister Carol Picard.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, in Bellingham.
